OEM and ODM service
We build helmets under your brand: your logo, your graphics, your shell colors and your packaging. You own the brand and the artwork. We run the tooling, the printing, the assembly and the inspection.
MOQ is 300 per style. Samples land in 15 days. Written quote in one working day.
What you can put your brand on
Start from any of our 95 helmet models: motocross 53, flip-up modular 23, full face 10, half 8, adventure 1. Use a stock mold, or send a sketch and we'll tell you within a week whether it needs a new mold, a modified one, or an existing one with a different paint job. Nine times out of ten it's the third one.
Paint and finish can be matte, gloss, satin, metal flake, pearl or carbon-look film, matched to your hex code or to a physical sample you post us.
Graphics and decals are where most private label projects live. Our 48 motocross graphics are a library to start from, and about a third of our buyers keep some and swap the rest. Water-slide decal and UV print handle complex artwork. Screen printing still wins for a one or two color logo repeated across 2,000 units, because the per-unit cost drops and the edge stays sharp.
Every decal we lay goes under the clear coat. That is the difference between a helmet that looks like a helmet with your logo on it and a helmet that looks like yours. It also means the decal survives UV, fuel spills and a summer in a top box, which a sticker never does.
Hardware and liner are yours to specify: ratchet or D-ring, strap and rivet colors, removable washable liner or fixed, your own size labels and sizing system.
Visors come clear, smoke, mirror or iridium, with dual visor (inner sun visor) versions across 30-plus models. Most EU and Latin American buyers want the dual visor. US buyers mostly don't. We stopped guessing and just ask.
Electronics: 12 models carry the built-in LED tail light. Specify brake-only, running-only, or both. This line started with one Brazilian distributor and is now the reason we get more OEM enquiries than anything else.
Packaging covers polybag, cloth bag, color box with your artwork, hang tag, manual in your language, carton markings, and your barcode and SKU.
How a project actually runs
Brief and quote, day 1 to 2. Send us the base model or a reference photo, artwork files (AI, EPS, PDF or 300dpi PNG), target color, packaging, quantity and destination market. You get back a written quote at T1 with the tier breakpoints above it, and the factory hub we would run it from.
Artwork check, day 3 to 5. Our print team sends a shell-flattening proof showing how your artwork wraps the compound curves of that specific shell. This is where most private label problems get caught before they cost money. Text that sits a few millimetres off on a flat digital file can curl off the edge of a peak or run across a visor cutout. We show you where, before we print.
Sample, day 6 to 15. One pre-production sample, printed and clear-coated on the real shell, shipped to you. Photos and video first, so you can approve before we spend on freight. A sample fee applies and is credited against your first production order. Artwork revisions before sampling are free.
Your sign-off, day 16 to 20. You approve, or you send changes. If the shell or the model changes after sampling, the 15-day clock restarts and the sample fee is not credited. That clause is in there because a buyer changed models after sampling once and then argued about the fee.
Production, day 20 to 50. 30 days from deposit, standard. Busy season runs longer. If you order in August for a December container, we will give you the honest date, and it will not be the date you want.
Inspection, before shipping. A QC report ships with the goods: unit count, weight, carton count, dimensions, photos of the production run and any defects found in the batch. Our own check sheet, filled in on the line.
What it costs
OEM is priced in three parts, and all three are itemised on the quote: base helmet price, printing cost, packaging cost. Nothing is bundled into a single number you can't check. Base prices run from 0.75EXWonaccessoriesto0.75EXWonaccessoriesto32 EXW on the top helmet lines.
A private label helmet typically lands 10% to 15% above the same helmet in white. That covers the decal setup, the print run and the packaging. Setup is charged once per design, not per order, so a reorder is cheaper.
Tiered pricing sits on top: T1 at the start, up to T5 at container volume or annual commitment. There is a 15% margin floor under all of it. If the discount you need puts us below that line, we say no, and we have said no to buyers we'd worked with for a year.
Payment runs 30% deposit and 70% against B/L copy under $20k. Above that, we'll talk about a letter of credit.
What we won't do
We won't copy another brand's graphics. If your artwork is a known design with one letter changed, we'll decline it, refund the sample fee and stop there. It has happened, and we also ask you to sign an IP disclaimer, which protects you as much as us.
We won't sell the graphic we developed for you to another buyer in your market. If the artwork setup is paid for, that design is yours in your territory, and it's written into the agreement.
We won't claim certifications we don't hold yet. ECE 22.06 testing is running on the full-face flagship and the modular line, target Q2 next year. DOT is on the roadmap after that. SNI, SONCAP and INMETRO follow at roughly one a quarter. If your market needs a certificate we don't hold, you'll hear it at the quote stage, not after the deposit. Some of those orders we take anyway, because the buyer runs testing on their side. Others we turn down.
FAQ
What's the MOQ for a custom logo helmet?
300 units per style per color. Lower for accessories and rainwear, where the molds and setup are cheaper. We don't flex this on helmets, but you can split 300 across two sizes or two colorways of the same graphic.
How long does a sample take?
15 days from artwork approval, delivered. Add your local transit time.
Can you match a specific color?
Yes. Send a hex code, a Pantone reference, or a physical sample by post. Physical samples are more reliable for matte and metal flake finishes, because screen calibration lies.
Do you do ODM as well as OEM?
Yes, and the split matters. OEM means you bring the design and we build it. ODM means you pick from our 95 helmet models and 48 motocross graphics and we put your logo and packaging on it, which is faster, cheaper and gets you to market inside a season. Most buyers start with ODM and move to OEM on the model that sells best in year two. That path works because you find out which model sells before you pay for new tooling.
What artwork files do you need?
Vector (AI, EPS, PDF) for logos, 300dpi minimum for photographic artwork. If all you have is a JPG, send it and we'll say honestly whether it survives printing at helmet scale. Sometimes it does. Often it doesn't.
Can you handle certification for my market?
Partly. We prepare the samples and documentation and work with the lab. The certificate is issued to the brand holder, which is you. Some buyers prefer to run testing through their own agent, which is fine, and sometimes faster.
